hi Jen, interesting blog you have and also interesting bio. the skyhooks bit caught my attention. i'd pretty much completely forgotten about that band but i do still remember watching them on countdown as a kid (when my pop-hating father would permit us to) and have just looked 'em up on youtube. great to be reminded of them. i am wallowing in nostalgia. i hear that shirley (was that his name??) was killed in a flying accident a few years ago. sad, i guess he wasn't that old.
