Hi Bonnie,

Ta for that... Yeah, it went from an experience to a poem to a reading to a prize to a wall projection in record time, like a month or something. Bizarre, like all the best experiences. Started as written for a comp at the Dan O'Connell hotel - had had to use the line 'angel black as soot.'

WOW! That is so cool, Jen. I want one too, here in Brisbane. Congratulations, that is one of the coolest poetry event thingos I've seen.

So you're in Brisbane? I agree - it was a happening thing. I got involved because these guys who called themselves Scarab Window posted up a note at Melbourne Uni looking for poets/writers for some text to be projected on the wall outside the Black Cat cafe in Brunswick St. When I went to check it out, by coincidence Tania was there with her clever camera. One of her images, pushed slightly by me, ended up on the cover of my poetry book gutter Vs stars.
