Happy New Time, J-Jewel! They do Roller Derby here in my towne as well. They even put it on in the giant arena that formerly housed our professional basketball team. Filling a niche quite nicely, I do reckon!
Happy 2009 to you too Mr Scaught. It sure is fun to go see. The crowd has a real Stray Cats-cum-goth-cum -Rocky Horror style with plenty of ducktail slickbacks and boy cheer squad in stovepipes and tutus and Mohawks. Took my 15 year old and she absolutely loved it. I'd love to see it in Seattle though. Think I have some money to earn so I can come back over your side of the world again. I miss American craziness.
